After leaving the lighthouse we headed to Erie, PA to go to Presque Isle. As a child growing up this is where we always visited Lake Erie. So it was nice to be able to go back and take the kids and my Mom to the Lake. Below are a few pictures of the kids at the beach along with some wildlife pictures. I will post the final phase of this day later.
Jeff and four of the kids trying out the water. It was cold at first but it didn't take long at all before it felt rather warm especially compared to the Atlantic Ocean in Maine at this time of the year.

Check out the grin out Julissa's face in regards to this sand. Her Daddy was not thrilled with her carrying this sand in her dress.
Curtis skipping rocks in the water. Jeff and the boys enjoyed skipping rocks out across the water. This is something my husband is very good at doing.
Curtis took special note of this bird as he is memorizing a poem about the sandpiper this year.
