Happy Belated National Pound Cake Day!

I made my first pound cake today. It is a Chocolate Chip Pound Cake. It was very rich and tasted great with milk. My whole family enjoyed. it.

Nice cake... Where'd you get the recipe?

She would know them from the Venus area and from Pine Ridge. Lol if our figuring is right she knows your uncle? really really well. Also my mom and dad met at GBS many years ago.

National Pound Cake Day! Sounds like something I would like to celebrate. The cake looks beautiful and delicious! I'll have to try the recipe, though making chocolate things here is bad because I'm the only who will eat it!

Amber,

If you click on the name of the cake it will take you to the recipe. It is from Taste of Home.

I still can't figure out who you are but I remember your friend Annette from Pine Ridge camp. I was friends with her brother - Sam.

The uncle that you know - is it on my Mom's side or my Dad's. My guess is it is my mom's side and it is Jerry. If you want to email me at lovelypeach@gmail.com feel free.

I talked with my sister and I think I have figured out who you are.

Dixie...thanks for your comment on my blog. Chris mentioned a convention to me some time ago, but I'm not sure if it's the same one. I've never gone to any conventions, but would enjoy doing so one of these days. If you could let me know the details...when and where....maybe we could meet at some point. I'd enjoy going. Thanks!
BTW, the cake looks scrumptious!
