Welcome to Our Home!

Tonight we welcomed a new baby to our family. It's a boy! He is a Shih Tzu and is almost 5 months old. We are not absolutely positive on a name yet, but we think we will be calling him Couper. I will update later if we change our minds on the name.
Samuel with our new baby. He has been wanting a dog for a long time, so he is exceedingly happy!
Isn't he so cute!

Enjoying the yard after his 2 1/2 hour drive!

Just checking out everything and everyone!

An Update on My Baby Sister!

My beautiful baby sister and her man have set a date for 06/07/08. I am sorry but I didn't get any updated pictures of my sister so the last picture that I posted will have to suffice. They will be married in Greenfield, IN. I am really liking the fact that it will be close by and we will be able to house some of our family for the occasion. This next little more than a month will be quite busy and eventful, I am sure. So if you don't hear from me you will know where I am - buried up to my ears in wedding plans! But, oh what fun! This is my last sister to get married so I am enjoying it. I won't be able to do this again until my girls get married and I am hoping that that will be many years down the road!

The Redbud Tree

One of my favorite trees in the Spring. They are so bright and cheery. Their name is mysterious - a Redbud Tree! I think the person that named the tree must have had trouble either seeing or knowing his colors.

Happy 9th Birthday, Samuel!

Today is Samuel's 9th birthday! It is hard to believe that it has been 9 years since he was born. He entered the world rather quickly and is still on the go. He came 18 minutes after they broke my water. This is my boy who loves nature! A dog has been on his birthday list for quite some time and we were working on it ,but we were unable to do it for his birthday.

Samuel wanted the homemade that I usually make for Jeff's birthday so I obliged him. It is a Carmel-Fudge Chocolate Cake out of a Taste of Home Magazine.

Making a wish! I don't know that he really was but it sounds good!

InterChurch Holiness Convention

If you are unable to attend I.H.C. this year, you may still enjoy the services via the web. Here is the link - I.H.Convention.

Congratulations!

Matt (*still just her boyfriend) and Lyndi*
He is no longer just a boyfriend but is now her fiance. I told her that while I am happy for her, I am sad at the thought of her moving so far away. They will be living in Florida. A post about the wedding date will be forthcoming.
We are looking forward to spending a few moments with them this weekend as they are in and out while making plans for their wedding. Maybe the next time I post I will have an updated picture.
