A Few Games from the 1800's.

One of the last things we did before leaving Conner Prairie was to participate in some games from long ago. I don't remember the names of them so the pictures will have to do.
The boys and Briana really enjoyed this.

At the Inn

When we arrived at the Inn, they told the kids to go on up and check out the beds to see if there was one in particular they would like to reserve. It would cost just 12 1/2 spanish cents for a spot in the bed.

At The Barn

After visiting the Indian camp, we visited the barn where the kids were able to pet various animals. They always enjoy their visit to the barn.

Our First Field Trip

Today the three oldest had dental appointments, so we decided to take our first field trip of the 2008-2009 school year. After going to the dentist, we headed home and finished up a few things and then went to Conner Prairie. We had a really enjoyable day and learned a lot.

While we were there I lost the lens cap to my camera so I returned to the area where I thought I had lost it in hopes of finding it. These guys had found my lens cap and were hoping someone would come back to find it. Yeah!

I will post more pictures later!

Briana's Breakfast

This morning Briana came to me and told me that she was eating "Frosty the Snowflakes" for breakfast. It was hilarious because she believes that is what they are called.
Briana and her "Frosty the Snowflakes" cereal!

The acutal item!

This is looking down our street.

Notice the leaves that have fallen already among the rocks. The weather has been super nice and almost fall like.
