Happy Father's Day

On Father’s day and all throughout the year,
Please take the time to let your Dad know how much you care.

For all too soon the time may come
When all that’s left are precious memories and tears.

My Daddy has gone on to heaven and I miss him so.
Family get-togethers just aren’t the same.

I would have never dreamed that last year would be the last
I would be able to call my Dad and wish him Happy Father’s Day.

I am thankful for his faith in God
And for his love for me;

For all he taught me through the years
And for the time I was privileged to have him here with me.

I miss you, Daddy! Happy Father’s Day!
