Yesterday the kids and I were privileged to go to Conner Prairie with another homeschooling family. We had a great time! The kids enjoyed writing on slates with soapstone. If only they were this enthusiastic when it came to doing school work on a daily basis. Maybe I need to buy them slates and soapstone for school?! I am sure the enjoyment wouldn't last long!
