Limberlost

Here is a post I found in the draft section of blogger from July of 2010.  I am not sure why it was never published, but thought I would go ahead and share it with you all now!

We visited Limberlost, the home of Gene Stratton Porter, with my Mom at the end of July, 2010.  My kids enjoyed the visit so much that we went back the next month for a special nature event for homeschoolers. After coming home from our visit to Limberlost, Samuel read The Girl of the Limberlost and Freckles both written by Gene Stratton Porter.  Below are a few pictures from our time there.
