No, we are not allowed to have one in our subdivision, and even if we were I am not sure I would want one.

Yes! When I was a teenager. I don’t think I have made them since.
Every day – One homemaking thing you do every day:
Feed Kids

National Holiness Association
We really enjoyed the two services we were able to be in this week at the National Holiness Association's indoor campmeeting held in Greenfield, IN. Here is a link to their website where you can download the audio files and listen to the singing and preaching from the past four evenings.

Snapshots of Four of the Kids
Trying out the camera without the flash by using natural lighting through the open door in the entryway. It was a mite chilly as it is only 25 degrees outside right now. Last year I took photos of the kids a month later than this doing a similar thing.

Happy 7th Birthday, Alex!
Dear Son,
It is hard to believe that it has been seven years since you were born. You were the only one of the five that came early and you were the smallest weighing just 6 lbs. and 12 ounces. I went to the hospital on the 13th of January not long after all of your Dad's family left for their homes after having had a late Christmas with us. So needless to say our Christmas decorations didn't come down very early that year. I am very thankful to have such a sweet and sensitive boy. I hope you had a great birthday!
Love,
Mom
Alex waiting for his cake.
The cake - this is what he asked for this year rather than a bakery cake. It is a Caramel-Fudge Cake from Taste of Home. It is a cake we all enjoy.
Here he is with his cake.
Alex enjoying his cake.
Alex's gift from Grandpa and Grandma.
He was thrilled to receive Pit for his birthday. At Thanksgiving time when we were in Kansas he enjoyed playing this game with his Aunt Regina, cousins and brothers.
Samuel and Alex checking out Alex's new Lego Truck.
The three boys playing Dutch Blitz - another game he got for his birthday.
They also spent time playing Pit.

Julissa
We have been trying out our new camera over the past several days and here are a couple of pictures of Julissa that I thought were cute.
Jeff took this one of her within the last several days.
I took this one of her tonight. Her mouth was full of milk. She woke up early in the morning not feeling well but seems to be feeling better for which I am very thankful.

Nature Photo Shoot
It was a beautiful day out today so I went outside to see what I could capture with my new camera.
The only two oak leaves remaining on our tree in the front yard.
The two leaves from another angle.
Clouds
Our River Birch Tree and more clouds.
A squirrel's nest in the treetop.

Our Christmas Program at Church on Epiphany Sunday
Below are a few pictures from our church Christmas program. It was held on January 6th, 2008 due to the fact that our Sunday morning services were cancelled due to weather on the day it was originally scheduled.
My sister, Holly directing the program. She did a good job.
The angels.
Joseph and Mary
The shepherds
It is all over now. The kids exiting the platform.
I got this slightly out of order. It kind of looks like they are exiting but it was actually the crowd that played a part in the play.
My nephew looking quite pleased that it is all over.
More of the people as they are leaving the sanctuary.
