Pilgrim Hall Museum

On Friday morning, we visited Pilgrim Hall Museum where we were able to see artifacts that had belonged to some of the Pilgrims. We were not allowed to take pictures inside the building hence only pictures of the outside of the building. Here is a link to one of my favorite paintings that we viewed in the museum. Quincy, MA

Today we went to visit the homes of John Adams and John Quincy Adams in Quincy, MA.

After touring this home we toured a home next door that was the birthplace of John Quincy Adams. I am not sure why but we didn't get a picture of that house.

Later on, the Adams family moved to this home. This is Peacefield.

Plimoth Plantation - Our Visit to the Native People

Today we visited part of Plimoth Plantation. We visited with the Native People. That is what we were instructed to call them. My husband absentmindedly referred to them as indians at one point in his conversation and they took great offense to it. I thought it rather ridiculous. We only saw this portion of the plantation this day because we got rained out. We did come back another day to tour the rest of the plantation. I will post more pictures of that visit later.

Julissa at the Beach

These are pictures from our second day of vacation. Julissa spent her time playing in the sand, collecting shells, and playing among the large rocks. She seemed to be afraid of the water which was okay by me.

Another Day at the Atlantic Ocean

We certainly enjoyed our time at the ocean. I believe these pictures are from our second day there. This was the day there were lots of crashing waves. It was the day following the tropical storm. Below are just some pictures from our time at the ocean.

It was interesting to watch the waves come in over the rocks and eventually cover them entirely.
