Thank you, Lord!

We are thanking the Lord that Dad has come through surgery this morning. Everything went well and things have been repaired. Tubes were put in both of his ears and as things begin to heal the tubes will work their way out, in around 6 - 9 months from now. All fractures are healing nicely and there was no damage to the major arteries inside the skull like was thought possible. The doctor will begin to wean Dad off the ventilator this afternoon.

As far as we know, Dad will only have one more surgery to go through where a stent will be put in his right carotid artery. We will know more later this week as to when that will be.
